This is quite an interesting one, a low-budget MVP that needed deployment on iOS, Android, and also as a web app.
Just figuring out the scale of the project, it was clear that the team composition had to have multiple developers, especially as I was given a deadline of 4 months until launch.
What I consider special about this project is that not only everything was delivered on time but also we came up with a good mid-range product across 3 different platforms with a team of 5 people and a very restricted budget. The way we have managed to achieve this was by researching thoroughly any new and innovative way of design, development, and deployment. This helped cut down the time needed thus the cost of the whole solution.
Sure thing, we had to take a leap of faith at some point and we also had a few blurry assumptions but throughout the use of an incremental process, we’ve managed to validate the business justification at each step while keeping everyone happy as progress was visible and usable.
