I think this is the project I love the most, for me, it is an embodiment of how an idea needs to be executed so that it’ll transform into a successful activity over and over again.
The concept for LPE started in 2015, I was looking at how many gaps there were between education and employment in the IT sector. While browsing for a solution I came to the conclusion that the problem reflects in the inability of universities to provide a good specific starting point for students to begin learning about the exact technologies required within companies. So I started searching for a spot where I could hold an event that would connect both parties: companies and students that are eager to learn.

That’s the moment when it struck me, that learning in any kind of familiar environment would not push any button for activating creativity or interest, we’ve been doing that already and it didn’t work, what if we change the environment to something new and exciting? A cinema hall proved to be the best solution forward a large screen for the host, cozy chairs, easy to install removable tables, good wifi, and most importantly a way to learn about technology that wasn’t explored yet.
From the very beginning, I have assembled a strong team that helped me with all the bits, they stayed with me for 4 years and helped more than 550 people to get a job in the IT sector during all the LPE editions.
